My current appetite is zero because I am spending all my time learning the ins and outs of my new job. The spare time I do have, I prefer to spend it with my family.
The feeling of losing momentum on a project I have fun working on feels wrong. But this is why I follow the Shape Up methodology. It defines appetite as a time budget, and I do not have as much time now as I did in August.
The recommender is the engine of TVLens, not the whole website, and it has been complete since Day 31. The website around it is not finished. I plan to pick TVLens back up in March 2027, with one goal: a working demo for a small group to test.
